Integrity – Sachin is considered to be the God of cricket, the man who cannot do anything wrong according his followers, or should I say devotees, but he wasn’t born perfect. He had to develop every little thing slowly. When he did reach the zenith of success he never forgot where he came from. A small incident from his life comes to mind, where his father had requested him to not promote certain products and he never did. That’s the level of integrity which this man has.
Mental Strength – Sachin is one of toughest people in the world of cricket. Although a careful person, he unfortunately suffered from injuries that could have easily ended any tough-as-nails cricketer’s career. Not Sachin, He bounced back and how! This is not achieved through mere physical strength. He has unlocked the power of his mind which is also seen through the level of focus which he has while captivating spectators across the world with his stunning square cuts and straight drives.
Ability to work in a team – It is needless to say that a place in the Indian cricket team is a highly coveted place. Many talented cricketers have become frustrated trying to get into the team and some simply have not been able to work with other players, board members and coaches. Sachin is not just one of the most talented cricketers ever, he is also extremely good at dealing with people. Sachin has never become embroiled in any controversy in spite of all the temptations in the world. Quite an amazing feat on its own!
